February 17th, 2009 Hip and Thighs....Hips and Thighs..... We are rear-drive engines as our largest and most explosive muscles that extend our body's against the ground are found behind us. Our Tuesday morning crew discovered that those muscles can do A LOT of Work in a short time. Workout of the Day 50-40-30-20-10 Kettlebell Swing Box Jump ***for time*** Results Terry--17:40 Eric--17:50 Wanda--14:38 Brian--17:06 Caryn--17:15 430pm Our younger athletes did a somewhat shorter WOD that required significant shoulder and midline stability. In addition, they were trained how to explosivly extend against the ground while catching a moderate load over head!! Workout of the Day 5 Dumbbell Snatch(each arm) 10 Renegade Row(each arm) 15 Air Squats ***5 rounds for time*** At Crossfit Legacy, we pride ourselves on being able to make workouts are difficult, safe, and effective for all age groups!!!!
